Shelter Interiors | Carolyn and Tricia met at their first jobs out of design school. While working in the commercial design industry they formed a friendship that evolved into the establishment of Shelter Interiors in 2007. Since then this duo has had the pleasure of working with families to build their dream homes as well as international companies to create amazing offices that are effective and on brand.

Shelter’s work has won awards and been featured in several National and local magazines and online publications. They were honored to be selected among a handful of designers to participate in the renovation of the Governor’s mansion in Hartford, CT. From inception to completion, Shelter Interiors oversees every aspect of your project. Whether it’s new home construction or renovation, we manage the entire process. From creating detailed construction drawings and specifications to adding the finishing touches of furniture, accessories, artwork, and window treatments. Tricia and Carolyn launched their careers in commercial interiors, honing their expertise in office design, hospitality, and multi-unit residential projects.
